We’re hiring!


Our Harvard/MIT digital health startup has been accepted into the summer cohort of the Harvard iLab Venture Program as well as the brand new Long-Haul Disease Program at MIT’s Sandbox Healthcare Innovation Program.


The Company: CBOH ("SEE-boh") is a digital health platform that allows users to share health statuses with those you choose: businesses, friends, and partners. We are focused on COVID in the near term with additional transmissible infection statuses as we scale.


The Opportunity: Dive into the rapidly innovating world of digital health. Work with team of Harvard, MIT students to scale our business and prototype: a mobile and web portal that allows users to securely store and share health information. Support research goals of Long-Haul Disease Program at MIT Sandbox. Gain access to Harvard and MIT entrepreneurial network and resources. Access to desk space at MIT Sandbox.


The Product (prototype): Currently launched on iOS and under development review for Google Play Store. Hosting an event? Planning a celebration? Going on a trip? CBOH ("SEE-boh") is an event facilitation tool for COVID-19 vaccinations and testing statuses. Built by engineers and designers from MIT and Harvard with best-in-class data security, CBOH allows hosts to create events, invite guests, and manage proof of attendees’ vaccination or testing status. Attendees can upload and store their CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card and other COVID testing results to attend social gatherings - so you can get back to sharing life with peace of mind.


The Product (long-term): Secure health portal with back end integration with medical providers and front-end integration with social and dating applications.


The Timeline: Summer 2021; hrs/week flexible


Open Roles:

~Indicates partnership role with Harvard GSD designer and UX researcher.

*Indicates managerial or partnership responsibilities with MIT undergraduates.


~Digital Marketing: Drive digital strategy for marketing (social, paid advertising), strategic communications (internal and external messaging), and website and application content development.


Business Development & Partnerships: Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships with event planning industry, dating/social applications, universities, and medical providers.


*Engineering: Mobile and web engineer, ideally with healthcare infrastructure experience. Own technical infrastructure build. Lead transition of the platform as a COVID event facilitation tool (built in Flutter and launching on iOS and Android) to a health data vault with seamless shareability that supports public health research. Build API integration with medical providers on the back end and social platforms on the front end. We’ve launched the prototype and built the business plan, you’re in charge of scale. Multiple levels (engineering support to CTO) available.


*Public Health: Drive public health research strategy; inform product development for disease prevention, patient awareness, and data collection for Long-Haul COVID-19. Statistics and machine learning experience a plus.

Full description: ColLab is a platform offering a match-making service for members of the Harvard community to work on interdisciplinary project requests to address issues locally or internationally. These requests can be submitted by Harvard and non-Harvard affiliates. Therefore, our platform would allow for the creation of powerful collaborations within the Harvard community and increase the general population's accessibility to Harvard resources and human talent to address socially-relevant issues.

PlayHouse Full-Stack / Frontend Developer

Full description: While this pandemic has taken a profound toll on the performing arts, leaving artists and audiences feeling uncertain about the future, we believe that we can take this moment to shape the future of entertainment consumption. Virtual theatre/concerts worldwide have helped remove the significant barrier of accessibility to shows, but they can and must be improved. That's where you come in. This is a part-time commitment for the summer (potentially ongoing), and developers will be granted a small stipend.
